    About Me:

Gabe Prasad was born and raised in Sacramento, CA. He has always been a direct, no nonsense, sarcastic and humorous human being. He is that person that you love, yet love to hate and still hate to love. There is a certain je ne sais quoi that you cant quite figure out, never will, but will continue to try. Being unpredictable lends to his charm and has served him well in all aspects of his life. His specialty is high maintenance and has never met a friend or foe that he could not contend with. Wild hippie who lives the holistic lifestyle yet has a taste for the finer things in life. If you haven’t realized it by now- he is a walking contradiction that will continue to confound you.

Travel! Travel! More Travel! Gabe has been to 39 countries and counting. As many places as he has been, there are so many left to see. He does not have one place that is his favorite, they are all amazing for one reason or another. Needing to complete the 7 Wonders of the World, Gabe has Brazil, Jordan and Egypt at the top of his list to visit next. The world is a large place and he feels that it is important for everyone to experience international travel. It can give you a perspective into how others live day to day, how blessed and fortunate you are, and other opportunities to improve on the life you are living now- if you are open to it.

    Holistic Living

Gabe has been plant based for 5 going on 6 years. Prior to this lifestyle change he ate everything in sight! Wanting to see if this adjustment would make a difference in his life, he has stuck with it. With zero judgment behind it, Gabe wants people to live their best lives and strive to be their highest, greatest self, and nutrition plays a huge part in it. There is not a herb, plant or home remedy that he does not know to treat the most common ailments. Gabe practices yoga 5 days a week, meditates, and loves every self-care treatment out there- acupuncture, massage, sensory deprivation chamber, infrared sauna.. give him All the treatments. Health, movement, and living life to the fullest are all nonnegotiable!

    Pretend Parenting

Gabe has 2 godsons that he thinks (knows) are his real children. He refers to their biological parents as his surrogates. Many days they definitely wish that were the case. Gabe spends as much time as possible with them teaching them what he wishes he would have known while growing up. Gabe does not teach them age specific concepts and tasks, but rather sets elevated expectations challenging their ability to learn and conceptualize the world they are living in. Gabe does not play when it comes to his kids. He is very protective of them and is waiting for the day he is called into the principals office. He is ready! He also knows this is a very real possibility because his kids are wild, do not do well with authority, and challenge every social norm.. just like they have been taught. They know there is no problem that they cannot handle or talk themselves out of- just like their Nino (godfather, Gabe).

    Professional Background:

Gabe’s professional career began in sales in the Luxury Beauty Industry. While attending college, Gabe worked full time as a Business Manager for L’Oreal- Fragrance Division. He managed 12 accounts and 20 employees. Upon graduation with a BS in Business- Marketing, International Business and Entrepreneurship, he was promoted to Account Executive for Kerastase and Shu Uemura. There he was responsible for the expansion and retention of 40+ accounts across 3 states with a sales volume of $3M. After two years, he was promoted once again and was asked to move to Seattle, Washington. There he was responsible for the expansion of the brand along with the management of the largest national chain account. Later Gabe moved to Luxury Brand Partners where he was responsible for Oribe, R+Co, V76 and Smith & Cult, which consisted of 50+ accounts spread over 4 states. “Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So, love the people who treat you right forgive the ones who don’t and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it’d be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.” - Dr. Seuss
